ParkinSense completes successful pilot trials with Brunel Universities BORG group

ParkinSense pilot trials with Brunel University BORG research group

During the week of December 8-12th, ParkinSense conducted comprehensive pilot trials in collaboration with Brunel University's BORG (Brunel Organisation Research Group) research team.

The trials focused on assessing our prototype application across multiple critical dimensions:

  • Application usability and user experience
  • Trust and understanding of the platform
  • User perception of results and recommendations

These trials provided invaluable insights into how healthcare professionals and potential users interact with our platform, helping us refine the interface and improve the clarity of our risk assessments and recommendations.

An experiment on trust in results was also conducted as part of this pilot, with findings that will be published in an upcoming research paper. This work contributes to our ongoing commitment to transparency and evidence-based development.

The successful completion of these trials marks an important milestone in ParkinSense's development, bringing us closer to our goal of providing accessible, trustworthy tools for early Parkinson's detection.
